Plein Air Art Competition & Show

June 10th, 2017

The one day event is open to all artists. Determined by Judge Joan Grine, cash prizes will be awarded to first, second and third place winners. Participants can sign at 10 at Myrtle Creek, pay their entry fee, $20 FAA members and $25 for non members, and have their materials stamped. Paint any subject on Myrtle Creek grounds and return finished painting no later than 3pm. Paintings will be displayed in the Pavilion with an awards presentation at 4pm. Come join the fun at this unique location!

The back porch of Myrtle Creek Botanical Garden’s turn of the century farmhouse is now open Wednesday to Monday from 10 to 5. We have everything you need to create your own mini merry garden – living moss, crystals, fairies, geodes, reclaimed containers, and a wide variety of small plants and succulents. Sit in the shade at your own farm table, dig in the dirt, and create your fairy habitat!
